He didn't make that much money those days to pay for the transit fare every day. He made a deal with the universe so, that until he is able to pay for the skytrain, he wouldn't get caught, and he promised that he would never ever sneak out of paying for the fare as soon as he starts earning enough. And he never got caught then...

People are alive, people make deals with the universe, people are connected to the universe, people still recognize themselves as being part of universe, people have hope,.... I am so dead
